Natascha Bessez has been making a splash lately.  She has been performing all around New York, and I caught her today in my own neighborhood in Brooklyn.  Awesome to see her dancing and singing in the summer sun for Mother’s Day. It was the Inaugural Mother’s Day Walk on Brooklyn Bridge, which celebrated those who have overcome domestic violence.

Today the Village Voice is running a story on Emily Bergl’s new Cabaret show “NY I Love You” at the Cafe Carlyle May 1 to May 12. Not too many days left!!  I just posted the lead shot of the show the other day.

I am excited about the new poster Emily Bergl and I did for her new cabaret show, “NY I Love You”. It is playing at Cafe Carlyle May 1 to May 12.  You can reserve a table through the link or just call.  The show is directed by Sara Lapine and Jonathan Mastro is directing the music, arrangements and playing piano.  The last show was awesome; funny and emotional.

I photographed a really cool model the other week and just failed to post it as we were shooting pretty late.  But I saw her portfolio today and thought I would post some shots of mine in it.  The model is the hot Libby Armstrong with Basic.  We shot this with the styling help of Adrienne Weinfeld-Berg.

Point of trivia, you may recognize the masks. I picked them up for the Melanie Iglesias Flipbook #2 with Melanie and Lisa Ramos.  Shot with a Canon 5D Mark II and an 85mm 1.2 lens with a Canon Speedlight and Broncolor Scoro Lighting.

I am so pleased to announce that Susana Monaco has opened her NEW website with the new campaign we shot.  I really love this story, shot at the Carousel in Dumbo Brooklyn.  You have to check out the new website.  It is fantastic and yes, you can shop!!!!

We had no idea we would be going against famed photographer Terry Richardson, Mila Kunis, and Harper’s Bazaar who shot in the same beautiful location and whose story also just came out in the April 2012 edition.  We were shocked to see their story the other week.  Love that story as well, and of course love Mila Kunis.  We did ours a little differently as we whited out the set and isolated the carousel horses while they used the entire scene.

I have to give a special thanks to the gorgeous model Zhenya Katava from Women Model Management. Makeup by Yuko Takahashi and hair by Wesley O’Meara, The Wall Group.  Photographed on Hasselblad H3D 39 megapixel with and 80mm and 150mm lens and  Broncolor lighting with the Scoro Pack.  ISO 100, approximately 1/350 F8.
